Dashir Management Services, Inc. was founded for the primary purpose of partnering with school districts to provide comprehensive facility management service and save schools money. We accomplish this by working with school administration to implement programs that provide a safe and healthy environment for students, staff, and visitors.

Our History

• • Dashir Management Services, began as a commercial maintenance and cleaning Company founded by Dave and Shirley Nelson. In 1997, the Nelsons were contacted by a School District in Wisconsin. Having heard of our excellent reputation in the manufacturing industry, the Administrator asked if we would be interested in making a proposal for service in their School District. Surveying our first School District made us aware of the substantial need in this market.
• • After changing the Company name in 2000 to Dashir Management Services, we left the manufacturing industry. Schools, then, became our focus, and we continued to develop programs that make us the one choice for a complete Custodial and Maintenance program for Districts that not only saves money but provides a vastly improved level of quality.
• • Mike Nelson began managing the company in 2009. Dave and Shirley Nelson retired in 2010.
• • Mike and Cheri Nelson purchased the company on January 1, 2015. We continue to focus on providing complete facility management for our customers. We now work with school districts in Iowa, Minnesota and Wisconsin.
